Paringa is no stranger to the ‘Best Buy’ tags with Wine Enthusiast and Wine Spectator with no less than five Best Buys over the last 20 vintages proving consistency of quality year on year. This years’ review of the 2019 Paringa Shiraz is 90 points and it has been listed as a Best Buy in the 2021 Wine Enthusiast Mag.
Wine Enthusiast critic Christina Pickard lauded the wine’s balanced fruit and oak flavours and satiny texture;
“This is rich and ripe but comforting, like a blanket on a cold winter’s night. There’s a well of cherry, plum, chocolate, mint, cedar and some savory spice. The palate is plush and satiny in texture, with a good lick of oak influence. The tannins are powerful but they don’t overwhelm. It’s a weeknight wine for the big red lovers in your life.”
